Logos

Our Logo Set is comprised of two elements: The Spotlight and the Luminary wordmark.

The Luminary wordmark can be used on internal or external materials. The mark is drawn loosely from the Patron font, with several odes to the previous version of the mark. Kerning between letters should never be altered. There should always be 1x x-height of clear space around the wordmark.

The Luminary icon, internally referred to as the spotlight, can be used on internal or external materials. The icon is representative a spotlight shining on the letter “L”. The encompassing shape is also that of a minimal speech bubble. The clear space required is half of the width of the spotlight.

The horizontal lockup should be used in external marketing material when possible, and especially when vertical space is limited. The lockup should always have 1x the x-height, and the spotlight 0.5x the x-height of clear space around it.

The spacing between the spotlight and wordmark should not be changed, and should always have 0.5x the x-height in spacing between the two elements.

When aligning to other elements, the edge of the lockup should be aligned with the edge of the other element, not the clear space.

Color Palette

We use color to help establish our mood as a premium network. It’s also practical, highlighting key information and drawing attention to our original shows.

In our system, Midnight Blue acts as a base; white is our typical type color; and Spotlight Yellow is our signature.

A few other callouts: Brand and legal type is always white. CTA type over a yellow button is always black.
